Gil Milburn-Westfall, Psy. D. is licensed by the state of Colorado as a clinical psychologist. He received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fordham University in 1971 and his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University. in 1976. In 1989, he obtained his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. In 1978, he was certified as a Parent Effectiveness Training instructor, and recently completed training as a Child and Family Investigator (CFI).
As a family practitioner, particular areas of expertise include the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolescent and family therapy, couples/relationship therapy; communication/ conflict resolution; domestic violence/anger management; substance abuse treatment; trauma issues; grief and loss; parenting; and post-divorce adjustment problems.
